Why irrgation is neccessary in India? Explain three causes.

NEED FOR IRRIGATION 
1.As india is having tropical type of climate evaporation is more rapid and there will be the scarcity of water so we need irrigation to over come it.
2.Different water reqirements of different crops can only be met through irrigation facilities only.
3.India is a populas country  so we need more irregation to meet the needs of our people i.e the basic need food.
