something divided by zero is undefined simply because it is undefinable ..

now , let us see

1/1 = 1

1/0.1 = 10

1/0.001 = 100

........ 1/0 = infinity

now ,here we proceeded from 1 to 0 in the denominator and we got infinity..

but ,similarly ,if we proceed from (-1) to 0 in the denominator ,we will get ( - infinity)..

thus ,we got

1/0 = infinity and ( - infinity) , thus , since two values are not possible.. so anything divided by 0 is undefined ..
