A megabyte is a unit of information or computer storage equal to 1,048,576 bytes.

A Byte is equal to 8 Bits. A Kilobyte is actually 1,024 Bytes depending on which definition is used. A Megabyte is approximately 1000 Kilobytes.

Explanation:

According to this presentation, what comes after yottabyte is brontobyte, or 10 followed by 27 zeroes. ... Gupta refers to “geobyte” in his presentation — but also refers to “bronobyte” as opposed to “brontobyte” for 10 followed by 27 zeroes . Wikianswers also refers to “geobyte.”
