why is 26th January called the rebblic day ?​

26th January is called Republic day because on 26th January 1950 constitution came in to force.

Because on 26th of January our constitution made by the constituent assembly was adopted by India. And on that day India became A SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC.
