Why is a copper wire not used in the filament of a bulb or as a heating element of heater?

Because the copper is a very good conductorand allows electricity to pass through with very less resistance. As the RESISTANCE is less, therefore, heat energy produced is very low(H=I^2Rt). This energy is not sufficient for an electric bulb to glow or a ln heater to heat the room

copper is not used in bulb as such the melting point of copper is very low as compared to tungsten so it will break easily as the current and time period increase
H=I²Rt this is the common formulate to derive this relationship
