Why is a copper wire not used to make filaments of electric bulbs?

BECAUSE IT HAS HIGH RESISTANCE AND FILAMENYS OF BULB NEED LESS RESISTANCE AND CAN EASILY GLOW SO IN PLACE OF COPPER TUNGSTEN IS USED.

Its is not possible because it has low melting point when an high electric current passes then it will melt away easily so the bulb can get fuse easily and we have to keep on changing it
