why is a frying pan made of metal ( like alumininm or stainless steel) but the handle of frying pan is made of plastic ( or wood) ?​

frying pan is ade up of metal because aluminum or stainless steel heats faster and better. Handle is made of plastic or wood because they won't absorb heat

as you know a frying pan is used to cook food by frying food on it....

so as to cook, you have to put the pan under a very high temperature and since metals like aluminium, steel , etc re good conductors of heat they are used for making frying pans

now about the handle, it is made of plastic or wood since it is a bad conductor of heat so it keeps your hand safe from extreme heat of frying pan which it suffers while you cook something on it
