galvanization is the application of a zinc coating to a metal or steel to protect it from rusting ,galvanization is commonly used even in bicycle handles and many other equipment .there are different types of galvanization including hot dip galvanization and in this case mostly steel and other metals are submerged into a in a bath of molten zinc
this helps the metal from rusting ,when this metal is dipped in a molten zinc all the surface of the metal is protected ,it is difficult to remove this coating and even if you break the coating ,rusting will not take place
