why is a glass TRANSPARENT

Photons pass through glass because they are not absorbed. And they are not absorbed because there is nothing which "absorbs" light in visual frequencies in glass. You may have heard that ultraviolet photons are absorbed by glass, so glass is not transparent for them.

glass is transparent becuase if we place any object infront of it does not absorbs its view. and it does not absorb because they have no substance that can absorb this can be also called as process of ultravoilet photos are absorbed by glasses.....!!!!....
