Hawkers do not have permanent shops whereas shop owners have permanent shops. They generally sell items like vegetables and fruits. Their income levels are less than that of shop owners. Even the expenses (like rent electricity, wages to workers, etc.) that they have to bear are much less than that of shop owners

A hawker sells different items of daily use like vegetables and fruits,. by going from place to place asking people to buy them. he does not own a fixed shop he brings goods on his HeLa cells them and returns back to his house. but a shop owner owns a permanent shop either in the neighborhood or in the market
