It is easy to carry everywhere

It shows landforms like-mountais,lakes etc.

It shows whole or one part of earth at a time.

a global is useful when we study the earth as a whole it is not useful when we are not studying only a part of earth like a city or a town

a map is easy to use and protable where as a global is not
