Due to image falling ahead of retina and not on retina the lenses cannot contract and relax and so due to such case normal eye cannot.....

This phenomenon is called the persistence of vision.

Our eyes contains a convex lens .

The focal length of this convex lens in our eyes is 25 cm .This causes a vitual image to form is we keep objects before 25 cm. Our brain cannot distuinguish between the real and virtual images.

Hence we are unable to see close objects.
