Why is a normal eye not able to see clearly the objects placed closer than
25 cm?

A normal eye cannot see the objects placed less than 25 cm of the eye without putting a strain on the eye. This is due to the power of accommodation of the eye.Its value is 25cm.It is not a defect . This is because our eyes have a focusing ability which is limited .
