as the concrete has space in between them and it also contains small stones

heya!

a person is likely to get hurt when he falls on concrete more than on sand because..as a person's body lands on sand..it starts sinking and thus reduced pressure

but a concrete floor is harder than water and is not distributed like grains of sand...it is intact...
therefore.. the person gets more hurt

another reason behind this is that
on a concrete floor the momentum of the falling body receives a very short time and thus comes in contact with the floor quickly..

whereas in loose sand or mud
.this doesn't happen and the falling body gets larger time to read h the ground and thus doesn't get hurt much .
