Why is a tree shaken to get its fruit down

because of a property of positive called inertia. when the tree is shaken, is branches are in inertia of motion while is gross are in inertia of rest and the force of gravity makes the fruits to fall downwards

As the fruits have inertia of rest so when we shake it this inertia gets disturbed and as a result fruits fall down....
