Why is ac more powerful than dc for same voltage?

The peak voltage of the AC circuit is actually closer to 170V, so for thesame amount of power an AC circuit can deliver more instantaneous current than a DC circuit. The second is that your body can resist DC betterthan AC. Your body has capacitance in it on top of just resistance. Capacitors like changes in current.
