Adrenaline hormone is known as the Emergency hormone. Adrenaline hormone is secreted during the time of stress or emergency by the adrenal medulla and is hence often referred to as the emergency hormone. Upon the release of adrenaline, the heart starts to beat rapidly thereby supplying a rush of oxygen to the muscles.

Adrenaline is also called the emergency hormone. (epinephrine) is a hormone produced by the medulla of the adrenal glands, that increases heart activity, improves the power and prolongs the action of muscles and increases the rate of depth of breathing to prepare the body for 'fright, fight, or flight. It is secreted at the time of emergency. Hence, it is also called emergency hormone.
