The aerobic respiration is considered more efficient than anaerobic respiration, it is because aerobic respiration results in the production of more energy in the form of ATP.
                                                 Whereas  
The anaerobic respiration results in less number of ATP.
The fact is that aerobic respiration is 18 times more efficient than anaerobic cell respiration.
