Why is aerobic respiration most efficient form of respiration?..Pls answer fast

Aerobic respiration proceeds as Glycolysis, Krebs cycle and Electron Transport chain (ETC). Out of these, Krebs cycle and ETC take place in mitochondria. Further, the two processes will take place ( If we consider such organisms which rely only on oxygen for respiration; which acts as electron acceptor in ETC ) only in presence of oxygen.
