Why is agriculture diversification necessary in india

look!! agriculture in india employs almost half d population of india ......so there is a lot of competition in this area......farmers only grow d crops which people mostly buy in india......so the money they get by selling it is less cuz everyone is selling d same thing......but if crops are diversified , then there will be less compition...infact , they can even export these crops to other countries.....we need variety ....change is d new constant ....bring something new to d market !!! Moreover growing d same crops in d same field will damage d field also , makin it less fertile.....
