The climate is extremely cold with long winters and scanty rainfall. Vast stretches of land in the region are covered with snow for most time of the year. Hence, this region is not fit for agriculture. Agriculture has flourished in Asia as many rivers rise in the snow capped mountains of Asia

It’s not possible to grow crops in tundra region because there climate and soil is not good for agriculture.There is cold climate and its soil are covered by snow ❄️.☺️☺️
