agriculture is said to be the backbone of Indian economy because it provide the basis of every other sectors such as secondary and tertiary sectors agriculture is also known as primary sector because it provides a primary goods necessary for the development of secondary and tertiary sectors it is known as backbone because it satisfies the primary needs
