Why is air a homogeneous mixture and not a heterogeneous mixture ?

because we can't differentiate the components of air physically....

kangna2: homogeneous mixtures are those mixtures whose components are completely mix with each other and we can't differentiate its component by seeing them just like the mixture of sugar and water ...u can't differentiate the sugar particles when it is completely dissolved in water similarly we can't differentiate components of air by seeing them or by any physical process..so it is considered as a homogeneous mixture..

GOOD morning dear...

A homogeneous mixture is a type of mixture in which the composition is uniform and every part of the solution has thesame properties. Air is uniform composition that's why air is homogeneous mixture..
