. (a) Difference between potential and actual resources: Potential ResourcesActual Resources (i) Those resources whose total quantity is not known. (ii) They are not being used at present. (in) As technology improves their use in future is possible. (iv) Uranium found in Ladakh is an example of potential resources. (i) Those resources whose total quantity is known. (ii) They are being used at the present time. (Hi) Available technology is used to use these resources. (iv) Rich deposits of coal in Rubr region of Germany is an example of actual resources.  (b)Difference between Ubiquitous and localized resources: Ubiquitous Resourceslocalised Resources (i) The resourrces which are found every where like air, water etc. (i) The resources which are found only in a certain place like minerals, crops etc.
