Because it contains moisture which evaporated from sea due to heat.
Actually if we consider convection currents then we get to know that more dense cold air sinks down while warm air remains up.

So the answer is quite simple as all depends upon its depth, the more you go down less propotion of o2(oxygen) decreases because less creatures live in their!...
