because it's safe and fast .the north Eastern States of India are covered with Himalayas or mountains and because of that there are some problem in landways , in north east India problem which mainly occur is flood because in North East India there is heavy rainfall and it damages the roadways and the railways . vegetation , north east consist lot of forest.
