Why is aluminium hydroxide i.e Al(OH)3 used as foaming agent in fire extinguisher? PLS MAKE IT FAST!

Aluminium hydroxide has the virtue to stabilize the foam which covers the fire . When we heat aluminium oxide , it releases water vapour in the process , this reaction absorbs the heat and cool the material . The residue of alumina forms a protective layer on the material's surface which extinguishes the fire .
