About Amniocentesis: It is used to determine the sex of child and diseases in child.
Erythroblastosis foetulisis is the genetic disease which forms before baby was born.this disease was formed because of the baby blood is Rh-ve and mother,father blood is Rh+ve(or)the mother blood is O type blood group and baby type is A or B.when these two blood groups are come contact through placenta the antibodies that present in mother destroy RBC cells in baby that causes low count of RBC.To avoid these they use amniocentesis to detect genetic disease.
