Why is amoeba immortal ?

Amoeba is immortal.Because the amoeba gives splits into two daughter amoeba.When the daughter amoeba grows it also follows Binary fission.That is why Amoeba is immortal.

Amoeba is immortal since it is a unicellular organism and undergo asexual reproduction(i.e., binary fission ) so the organism produced are clone of their parent and since clones have genetic material identical to their parent so genetic material is not lost and in biology for unicellular organisms death refers to complete loss of genetic material  therefore amoeba is not said to be dead.
