1. Deserts are the area full of covered with sand.

and Sand is good conductor of heat.

2. Thus sand get heated up quickly in the noon time and cools down fastly in the evening.

3. Hence Temperature range of desert experiances a great difference.

That's why annual range of temperature of desert is never constant and always high.
