Why is Antarctica inhabitable for human beings

IT is because Antarctica supports heavy cold with dry weather and also there is very or like no land on which human foundations could build (at the centre). and since the temperature reaches below 50 celcius , therefore we can say that

ANTARCTICA isn't a good place for human foundation( residence)
