Why is Antarctica the coldest continent in the world?

Because there are ample amount of ice in blocks which makes the atmosphere of the place cool. Moreover the Sunrays do not fall directly there as a result of which the place remains cool.No other place in the world possesses this quality that is why it is the coldest continent of the world.
