antony's speech is more effective because:

1) he uses irony/satire to proove to the mob that the conspirators were not actually honorable neither their cause for killing scaesar was noble

2)he appeals to the passions and feelings of the mob by showing them caesars corpse, reminds them of how he overcame nervii and questions them about what is withholding them for mourning for caesar.

3)he supports his points with logical reasons, he tells that caesar was not ambitious because a)he wept with the poor 2)he brought many captives to rome whose ransoms filled the general coffers c)thrice refused the kingly crown offered by antony on the lupercal

4)he played to the emotions of the mob by saying they would do wrong to themselves if they didnt seek revenge against the conspirators

5) plays to their greed by mentioning caesars will a) he gave every citizen 75 drachmas b)he also left his private walks and newly planted orchids for them to refresh and recreate themselves . by doing this he made them realise they were all caesars heirs and it was their duty to avenge caesars death.

6) he quitely implanted a seed of mutiny and rage

in this way antony's speech was more effective.
