The asexual mode of reproductionis common in them. It is so because byasexual reproduction unicellularorganisms can multiply very fast. In Amoeba it occurs by binary fission andin yeast by budding to be described first.
Modes of Asexual Reproduction. Organisms choose to reproduce asexually by different means. Some of the asexual methods are binary fission (e.g. Amoeba, bacteria), budding (e.g. Hydra), fragmentation (e.g. Planaria), spore formation (e.g. ferns) and vegetative propagation (e.g. Onion).

because they are unicellular n have a very simple body design so they don't need 2 parents to produce a young once as they can do it so just by fission or budding
