Ashoka was like alexander.He wanted to capture the world.He was a rude king. But once Gautm budhha viwited him .He got inspierd by it and turned to the path of peace. He adopted Buddhism. And started spreading it all over the world . He swnt his son to sri lanlka to prmote Buddhism.
