Ashoka is one of the greatest rulers of India, and of the world. He was a great conqueror. These words "ALL MEN ARE MY CHILDREN" is an ideal worth emulating by any ruler in the world. He committed his life to peace , prosperity and non-violence. Hence he was rightfully called ASHOKA THE GREAT.
