Why is atmosphere important for survival of living beings:?
Answers
Atmosphere is important for the survival of human beings. This is because the atmosphere is an envelope of air surrounding earth due to which the climate on the earth is tolerable to people living in here and mainly it also reflects a large amount of UV( Ultraviolet Rays ) emitted by the sun. This protects the health of the people living on the earth and thus saving them from numerous violent diseases like skin burns, intolerable heat, etc.
If there would have been no atmosphere people would have been suffering from the extremes of climate and the propagation of sound would not have been possible as sound needs a medium to travel like air. If there was no atmosphere, there was no air. And also there are nu.erous various usefulness of the atmosphere like controlling the temperature from reaching it to the extremes, radiation propagation, etc.
Hope it helps !!
