Why is balance of equilibrium necessary in a food web?

Herbivores eat only grass & plants and Carnivores eat only flash and some eats both.

If all living beings become herbivores & carnivores respectively then plants & living beings (herbivores) become vanished respectively. So it is important to balance the food chain .

Food web is one of the most important components of any environmental ecosystem.

A food web is nothing but the flow of biological energy from producer plants to predator species.

This transmission of biological energy in food webs,happen in multiple stages.

If any single stage is disrupted by some reason,the upper and lower stages will also be harmed and it can even cause the total destruction of that ecosystem because without energy transmission the life is not possible.

That's why equilibrium is mandatorily necessary in every food webs.
