Parthenocarpy is the development of a specific fruit without fertilization to occur. Banana is a parthenocarpy fruit because it's seedless and is formed without the fertilization of ovules. The flower directly develops into a fruit within a short span of time!

Banana is considered as good example of parthenocarpy because it
produces flowers without fertilization and they are induced through the
application of growth hormones and such fruits are seedless.
