why is Bangaluru cooler than Chennai in winter even though they lie in the same latitude

Answer:

Bangalore is cooler than Chennai because of higher alttitude.Bangalore is situated at the plateau which is 600 metres higher than chennai.the temperature gets reduced by 1 degree celsius per 300 feet.
