In Greek legends ,Colchos was the place where Jason obtained the golden fleece .in this passage, Bassanio compares Portia's hair to that golden fleece .many men or jasons are trying to get to Belmont To Marry Portia just like Jason tried to get to colchos to obtain the golden fleece. therefore Belmont has become Colchos strand

jasons are the adventurous suitors who are trying to present themselves as The Eligible suitor to Portia and marry her. they are so called because in great legends ,a famous hero called jason also tried like them to obtain the golden fleece and so just like him they ,the men ,are trying to get marry with Portia.
