Why is Bihar so densely populated ?

The real reason is, they are part of fertile Gangatic plains along with Uttar Pradesh. These states have very fertile soil and as we know our society has been Agro based since ages, therefore the early people who were nomads settled around these plains and their generations have continued to reside there.
