Why is black soil suitable for growth of cotton?? ​

Cotton generally considered as rainfed crop. It is also gown in areas where assured irrigation is not there. Black soils can retain water which is very useful property for rainfed crops to grow. The texture of the soil is supportive to the growth of cotton. So black soils are more suitable for cotton to grow.

Black soil is suitable for the growth of cotton because it contain calcium and magnesium carbonate and dark in colour and also wet which is absolutely accordance to the need of cotton growth
