Blood has a fluid (liquid) matrix called plasma , in which RBC ,WBC and platelets are suspended. It flows and also transports transports gases, digests food, hormones and food to the rest of the body. It is a framework in the body that carries nutrients throughout the body. Lymph is also an example.
