All the necessities of life such as Oxygen, nutrients, hormones, wbcs, are distributed to various body parts and harmful substances like co2,excretory wastes are removed from them by way of blood which keeps flowing in our body like a river and does all the things that a river does like help in transportation.Hence,it is called river of life.
