why is blood known as a connective tissue

Blood is a fluid connective tissue as it flows through out the body organs nd parts..i.e it connects different organs so its is termed as a connective tissue which transports different materials across the body..

Blood is also called as fluid connective tissue because it posses all the properties of connective tissue.

1.It connects various body parts with each other.

2.Forms packing around various body organs so called as packing tissue.

3.It is mesodermal in origin.

4.It has all the three components of a connective tissue cells, fibers and matrix.

.5.Fibroblast is the most important cell of connective tissues which is present in blood.
