It is blood that carries life to all our body cells so that the entire body may be kept alive. By life means the vital component for respiration which is oxygen.

In earlier times and even now river was/is the place where the first human proper civilisations and settlements grew. Man became a settled animal which today distinguishes the entire animal kingdom from HOMO SAPIENS.

River carried water which was/is the lifeline for the humans.

It is because of this similarity that blood is known as river of life.
