Why is blood required by all parts of the body????

Blood is a fluid medium which functions the transport of various substance. it has many uses like:
transport of oxygen rich blood to the body part
transport of deoxygenated blood to the heart
it contains platelets to help clotting
it has WBC to kill germs
it also has lymph which helps in transporting absorped fats etc.
