Why is blood said to be a mixture and graphite is an element? Mention any 1 reason for each

Mixture is a substance made of at least two pure substances.
Blood is said to be mixture as it is made up of plasma and cells like rbcs wbcs and platelets.
Whereas graphite is an element bcz it constitute of only carbon atoms.
