Why is blood said to be a mixture and graphite is an element. Mention any one reason for each.

Blood is said to be a mixture because it contains plasma,platelets,WBC and RBC which is enough to say it a mixture and graphite is an element because it is an allotrope of carbon element which has a vast no. of organic compounds
